Advanced Truck Driver Training Program - Individuals who have no
prior truck driving experience are a good fit for this program. This
program introduces students to the trucking industry regulations, laws
and safety issues and provides a thorough study of tractor-trailer
driving. Students can practice hands-on driving techniques and various
maneuvers in conventional 9, 10 and super 10 speed tractors and various
length trailers. City and highway driving experience can promote the
students' self-confidence and develop the driving skills necessary for
proficient and safe operation of a tractor-trailer. The program prepares
students for the CDL Temporary Permit Test, CDL Skills Test, and
entry-level employment as a driver in the trucking industry.
600 Master Truck Driver Training Program - Individuals who have no
prior knowledge or experience in tractor-trailer driving and who are
seeking more advanced training are a good fit for this program. This
program is designed to significantly enhance students' driving
proficiency and includes safe operating procedures, vehicle inspections
and preventive maintenance troubleshooting. Extensive driving techniques
and hands-on experience in troubleshooting and servicing
tractor-trailer systems can make students confident in their abilities
to safely operate a tractor-trailer. In addition, training in the
passenger bus enables students to obtain a bus endorsement. The program
prepares students for the CDL Temporary Permit Test, CDL Skills Test,
and entry-level employment as a driver in the trucking industry.
